Are there any restrictions on what I can sell?

Cruelty Free Festival welcomes all businesses and organisations who share our vision of a kinder world. Food, drink, wine, grocery, wholesale, professional services, cosmetics, personal care, fashion, accessories, jewellery, kids’ clothes, toys, home furnishings, books, DVDs, stationery, magazines – as long as what is sold, promoted or displayed on the day is 100% vegan and certified cruelty-free (i.e. contains no animal or animal-derived products and is not tested on animals).

Where appropriate, companies must be accredited as cruelty-free by Choose Cruelty Free Australia, or an overseas accreditation body such as PETA or Cruelty Free International.

As a green event, all stallholders’ packaging and tableware must be made from recycled/renewable materials and be biodegradable. Excess packaging is the stallholder’s responsibility and must be taken away at the conclusion of the event.

All stallholders selling food, drinks, alcohol, or packaged foods/grocery items must have a City of Sydney Temporary Food Permit.

Ready to eat food products are permitted, which can be prepared and sold on-site, or prepared and heated on-site. Electric and enclosed gas flame cooking is permitted (no open flame).

Wineries and boutique breweries are welcome; however, liquor service is restricted to sampling only.

Are dogs welcome?

Unfortunately, visitor dogs are not allowed at the venue this year.

You can sample your vegan cruelty-free product or service via our 2016 limited edition showbags!

Our 2016 showbags will be presented in 100% certified organic cotton tote bags with a limited edition print of just 250.

Last day for delivery of samples is 14 October, to allow time for packing ;)


The CFF Raffle is a festival drawcard and a major highlight drawn on the main stage!

If you would like to donate a vegan cruelty-free prize (product or service), please contact us via our What’s Happening webpage.

All prizes and contributors will be listed on our website, promoted on the day and via social media.

N.B. Stallholders can advise of a showbag or raffle contribution via the Sponsors & Stallholders registration form.

Will there be ATMs at the venue?

Three ATMs will be provided by ATM2GO and will be located inside the Exhibition Hall. A permanent ATM is located in the main foyer.

Not all stall holders will have EFTPOS / credit card facilities, so we recommend you bring some cash on the day.
